WASHINGTON CONSERVATION COMMISSION

 

 

Minutes- January 25, 2005

 

 

 

1.0 Assembly: Time 7:00 p.m.

Present: Rich Cook, Sandy Robinson, Carol Andrews, Tom Taylor.

 

2.0 Approval of Minutes: approved as printed.

 

3.0 Old Business:

3.1 Dredge and Fill Committee- no activity

3.2 Planning Board update- Carol attended the January 11th public hearing on changes to the LUO, and the question of growth. The Planning Board wants to place a question about growth on the warrant or ballot. The feeling at the hearing was that the question should be on the warrant to allow discussion.

3.3 Budget hearing will be held next Saturday.

3.4 The group felt it was appropriate to spend the money ($175) to join the New Hampshire Association of Conservation Commissions. Vote to be held at the next meeting when we hope more members will be present.

3.5 WhatÕs happening in nature? Snowshoe hares are perfectly outfitted for winter.
