Washington Energy Committee

Present: Lindley Rankine, Al Krygersis, Johanna Young

January Minutes were approved as written.

EECBG Application will be sent, 4 copies faxed, 1 copy to be delivered.

Al reports he attended the school board meeting and handed out a form for an application to receive energy usage tracking. The School Board will submit it on behalf of the school. Al notes the school is a major energy user. The School needs to have an audit done, Al notes.

Johanna has given the library the two videos we showed at Green Film Nights: Six Degrees Could Change the World and Saved by the Sun.

Button-up (Workshop to show residents how to weatherize their homes) may come to Washington in the fall.

Next meeting we could talk about what we might want to do at Olde Home Day for a booth.

Al suggested we put up some information at the Town Hall (maybe an easel) to display information about energy saving more prominently.
