Energy Committee Minutes
February
9, 2012
- Jan.
Minutes approved as written.
- Bob
has been in touch with Denise from Button-Up and we are set to host, but
need to pick at date. Johanna gave some possible dates: first priority
– Sept. 12 or 28th.
If it needs to be earlier than May 15th or May 29th
would work. Bob will follow-up and also be in touch with local businesses
that might want to be there to do demos.
- School
– John Highland, head of school board, said the WES will have a surplus
and could put in the insulation this year with the excess. The School
Board will be meeting with the auditor on Feb. 17 (date to be confirmed).
- Town
Meeting – bring in gizmos and brochures about energy saving for
display.
- The Town
Garage is asking for a wood furnace, $33,000. Al notes that gasification
is very clean.
- Meeting
adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
