Conservation Commission – Land Protection Committee

Attending: Carol Andrews, Sandy Robinson, Jed Schwartz, Nan Schwartz

We discussed our priority properties for protection.

We went into non-public session to discuss a particular property.

We discussed the Town Forests and working to get them protected.

The Town can't hold the easements

There is much work to be done looking at deeds, surveys, legal work

We can take stewardship donations to cover some costs

The Selectmen need to talk to the Forestry Committee about getting this done, the lands is under the Forestry Committees responsibility. We will assist them as needed.
