Current Use - If you own more than 10 acres
of land you may qualify for Current Use. Also, some wetlands,
all tree farms, and smaller tracts of active agricultural land
can qualify. For more information go to the website of Statewide
Program of Action to Conserve our Environment. (SPACE) New

Lot Merger - If you have 2 or more contiguous
lots of land, it may be possible to decrease your tax bill by
filing a simple Lot Merger application with the Planning Board.
This requires a $50.00 fee. For more information on Current
Use and Lot Mergers contact the Assessor's Office on Thursdays
9 AM. to 2 PM. Contact them at 495-3074 or by email at: assessors@washingtonnh.org.
